Key Stage 01 (Year 7–9) is designed to support students as they transition into lower secondary education. At this stage, learners deepen their understanding of core subjects, develop independent learning skills, and strengthen their ability to think critically, analyze information, and solve complex problems.
The curriculum focuses on:
- Advanced English language and literacy skills
- Mathematics reasoning and problem-solving
- Science concepts, investigations, and practical applications
- History, Geography, and Social Studies
- Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Creative Arts, Design, and Technology
- Personal, Social, and Health Education (PSHE)
Students are encouraged to take greater responsibility for their learning through research projects, collaborative activities, presentations, and practical assignments. The learning experience aims to build academic confidence, creativity, leadership, and preparation for higher levels of education.
